On Nelson Mandela’s 99th birthday, this video was created to raise awareness around Madiba’s life and Mandela Day. To this day, I am surprised by the interviewee’s responses. In watching this video, I trust that you will commemorate the life and legacy that is Nelson Mandela on what would have been his 100th birthday. Tata Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. The original intention of social media was to connect family and friends from far and wide. The ability to share and save pictures online was an unprecedented accomplishment in the digital world. For me, that was its core value. To connect. Now, however, that’s no longer its intended purpose.
