Is It Disrespectful For Whites To Wear Traditional African Clothing?

In light of #HeritageDay today (Sunday 24th September), a number of South Africans have been wearing their traditional African clothing. It then came to my attention, after scrolling through Twitter, that a group of white males were wearing what looked like traditional Zulu attire.
I then asked myself, “is this appropriate or not?”
